Sing And Swing

Hemmings is a post office messenger and leader of the rock group The Smart Alecs. His father won't have any of this teen-age nonsense and gives Hemmings a month to succeed or give it up. Hemmings loses an all-important audition tape while delivering a package to a film studio, but as the contrived plot twist would have it, American producer Bauer finds the tape. He loves it and begins a search for the group. Finally, over a taxi intercom, Hemmings and his boys have their big audition, which they pass with resounding success.
