SIMPLY TERRIFIC is the same old hackneyed comedy churned out regularly by the British. Hulbert stars as a rich heir out to impress Purdell, the wealthy father of his girl friend, Wynn. Hoping to prove his business acumen to Purdell, Hulbert tries to persuade his potential father-in-law to invest in a ruined businessman's new product, called "Socko."
