This fitfully interesting film contains some nicely atmospheric moments and some fairly shocking gore. O'Neal plays a lawyer who spends the night in a house he's trying to sell for its mysterious owner (Patterson). The place was once an insane asylum, and its history is told in unsettling flashbacks starring New York underground film actors Ondine, Smith, Darling, and Brown.
