German forces build a fort in Japan shortly before the beginning of WW I. Their aim is to protect their colonial interests in the Far East. When the Japanese join up with the Allies, one of their immediate goals is to capture the German fort. Two biplanes purchased from France, which
constitute the entire Japanese air force, encounter a German aircraft. But in the ensuing confusion, no pictures are taken. After another flight, little damage is done, but a Japanese plane is shot down. The Japanese navy conducts an all-out attack, and the remaining biplane successfully bombs a
train loaded with supplies for the fort.
