Over-Under, Sideways-Down

Viharo plays a factory worker rapidly approaching middle age. He sees his wife and children as roadblocks to his real dream of playing major league baseball. His wife (Goldman) tries to be supportive but soon grows weary. Viharo will not allow her to take a job or attend school since her responsibility is raising the kids. The frustrations of the pair mount, and they gradually grow apart. None of this material is new, and the handling here is muddled, with no depth or perception.
