Shallow comedy starring Hankey as an aspiring author desperate to get financing for his new play. Seeking to impress his wealthy aunt so that she will invest in his show, Hankey tells her he lives in a swanky flat. In reality the apartment is just for show and had been decorated by one of his friends. The aunt is duly impressed, but reluctantly breaks the news to her nephew that her fortune has dwindled to nothing. Luckily, his friend's fiancee knows a rich investor and the show is saved. Unremarkable material with no spark of inspiration or originality. leave a comment
