This formula entry in Republic's "Higgins Family" series (which featured the real-life Gleason family) is a good programmer. James Gleason, the father, is about to be promoted until his wife (Lucille Gleason) lets out a business secret that mars a merger. The wife ends up with the
husband's job and he stays at home and does the housework. The jokes and gags are ancient but the basic goodness and loyalty of the family, an essential ingredient in all the films of the series, are there in abundance.
