Kulle plays a Swedish lieutenant who goes to an isolated isle off the Lapland coast for a summer to escape social pressures. There he meets Gill and rents a hunting lodge from him. Gill's daughter, Andersson, is attracted to the stranger, but she repels his advances because she does not trust men. Soon, however, he shows her how beautiful love is and gains her trust.
