An effective flag-waver which put the Marine Corps in the spotlight and was made with the full cooperation of that branch of the US armed services. Payne is an arrogant lad awaiting a cushy job in Washington, DC, which his girl friend Kelly is supposed to land him. In the meantime, he decides to sign up with the Marines.
