Moriarty plays a not-too-bright policeman who is seen taking a bribe by a traffic violator and later kills a purse snatcher whom he has caught red-handed. The widow of the dead man, who was black, sues Moriarty for $1 million. He feels assured, however, that a white policeman won't be
