Montgomery plays a young sailor with an eye for the admiral's daughter, Jordan, but first he must contend with a petty officer, Torrence, who uses Montgomery as a whipping boy to vent his anger. After the customary heroics, Montgomery takes up with the Naval Academy, which makes him a
suitable match for the admiral's daughter. This was to be Montgomery's first production in which he received star status. Unfortunately, there was nothing memorable in his performance or the tired story.
