The Shipbuilders: Review

Well-made story about a shipbuilder (Brook) whose failing business is brought back to life with the beginning of WW II. Troubling Graham is an errant son who narrowly escapes a prison term for murdering a man and is straightened out by being pushed into the navy by Brook. The film ends on a sad note with Graham's son being killed while serving aboard a ship Brook had built years earlier. leave a comment
