Adventure on the high seas centers around a ship's crazed steward, compellingly portrayed by Wolheim, who takes charge of the ship after tossing the captain overboard. With his new position of power, Wolheim becomes a virtual tyrant, saved from his irate crew only because of the presence of the giant, oafish cook Linow as his protector.
