Except for one or two sequences this is a fairly dull vehicle in which Sothern finds herself terribly in debt when her father dies. She gets a job as secretary to rich Raymond and wedding bells soon ring, which makes Sothern's creditors all very happy. This is what Raymond starts to believe, at least, forcing him temporarily to postpone the marriage.
