A German version of the tales of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famed detective, with a Hammer director in Fisher and Hammer leads in Lee and Walters, as Holmes and Watson respectively. Both Fisher and Lee are more at home in horror films, which, combined with the mood created by the German
