Shepherd Of The Ozarks

Albertson plays an army lieutenant forced to bail out of a plane during maneuvers. He lands in the middle of the Ozarks and receives a warm welcome from the inhabitants, especially the beautiful Hare. The lieutenant's father arrives with the objective of obtaining valuable mineral deposits. To do so, he takes the Weavers to the city, but his plan is unsuccessful, so it's back to the Ozarks where a mock battle is occurring. The Weavers, however, think it's the real thing and quickly come to the aid of what they take to be the Americans.
