A mildly amusing Russell comedy which has the statuesque star as a well-respected psychiatrist seeking to prove her theory that a person can maintain a healthy mental attitude if he retains strict control of his emotions. Into her life stumbles the perfect guinea pig, Bowman, a goofy
cartoonist whose successful character "Nixie" is the antithesis of Russell's theory. In the funny papers, Nixie advocates free emotions and immediate action on impulses as the road to happiness. The differences between Russell and Bowman lead to some predictable comic situations, and they also
manage to fall in love. Effective but uninspired.
