Basically a vehicle to capitilize on the comic talent of the popular Davis, teamed here with an aging Errol. A fair number of laughs are managed, Davis goes through the usual body twists, and she and Errol feed each other a number of swift one-liners. But the plot is very weak and holds
little, if any, interest. Davis plays the daughter of "Ma Pilkington," a small town heroine known for her great sleuthing abilities. (She also plays Ma in a brief, funny scene.) Thinking that the daughter will have the same abilities, the authorities call in Davis to solve several murders that
