Pitts plays a lunch-counter waitress who spoils a bank robbery. O'Connell, an ambitious press agent, sees this as a chance to capitalize on Pitts' image, and goes about making the innocent gal a national hero. The really silly part of the already silly story comes when Pitts is kidnapped
by gangsters because she is making them look bad. Pitts talks her way out of the mess, reforming the hoodlums in the process. It just wasn't funny.
