Wilson once again proves the six-shooter is no match for his whip, as he rounds up a gang of crooks who are trying to pin the murder of a rancher on an innocent former convict. The deputy sheriff, Wilson, is supposed to be on vacation, but he proves that a true lawman never rests. Some of
the action scenes are handled in an interesting fashion for a western, with the focus on the reaction to violence rather than the actual violence. This not only saves time in setting up shots but also keeps from displaying Wilson's limited talents.
