Meeker returns from WW II with a problem. He suffers from shell-shock, and now becomes afraid every time it begins to rain. Davis, his big-hearted sister, wants him to live with her and her family in the bucolic suburbs. She and her husband must face the question of whether to allow Meeker around their two young children. Meeker conquers his neurosis when his nephew falls into a large body of water during a rainstorm. The story line gets too melodramatic, with Hagen thrown in to provide Meeker's love interest. leave a comment
