Shadey

This black comedy is long on surrealism but short on laughs. Oliver Shadey (Antony Sher) is a London auto mechanic who longs to undergo a sex-change operation, but he needs 12,000 pounds sterling to pay for the surgery. Blessed with the ability to not only read people's thoughts and picture occurrences thousands of miles away but also to transfer those images to film, Shadey approaches wealthy industrialist Sir Cyril Landau (Patrick Macnee) with a scheme that will profit both men.
