Even an octopus doesn't have enough tentacles to choke off this lame attempt at a thriller, in which Herbert reprises his role as an idiotic detective. Aided by able companion Jenkins, Herbert stumbles through the investigation of some strange goings-on at a lighthouse. The film is supposed to evoke scares, but is so poor it only elicits laughter, and applause--when it's finally mercifully over.
