In the Troma tradition, this U.S.-Japanese coproduction is meretricious schlock posing as a lusty parody of meretricious schlock. NYPD captain Dick Bender (Noble Lee Lester) assigns Sgt. Harry Griswold (Rick Gianasi) to investigate the brutal slaying of a famous Japanese Kabuki actor. Bender questions Griswold's skill, but Griswold tries to make up in tenacity and hard work what he lacks in finesse.
