Seven Hours To Judgement

Beau Bridges directs himself in this implausible thriller as Judge John Eden, who is presiding over the trial of a street gang that has brutally robbed a woman and left her to fight for her life. The victim's husband, David Reardon (Ron Leibman), pleads unsuccessfully to have the trial delayed, but Judge Eden goes ahead and sets the gang free for lack of evidence. Meanwhile, the woman dies. That evening Reardon abducts the judge and his wife (Julianne Phillips), and he gives the judge seven hours to locate the evidence that would have convicted the gang.
