Hood cliches meet heist conventions in this crime drama about four women raised in a violent housing project and their brief career as bank robbers. Disgraced bank teller Frankie (Vivica A. Fox) -- her branch was held up by thugs from her neighborhood, and her bosses suspect her of being involved -- good-girl Stony (Jada Pinkett), shy Tisean (Kimberly Elise) and big, bad Cleo (Queen Latifah) are sick of being poor and oppressed.
