A fast-paced comedy/drama that marks Vincent Price's film debut. Bennett runs a service bureau for the wealthy, taking care of everything from writing checks to staging weddings. Ruggles employs her services to keep his country-bumpkin nephew, Price, from visiting him in New York. But as
expected, Bennett and Price become romantically involved and the two eventually marry. She first battles Hodges for him, winning him over with her big-city charm, while Hodges makes due with Auer.
