SERPICO
starstarstarstar
A stellar performance from Al Pacino, who proved that his unforgettable performance in The Godfather was anything but a fluke. He plays Frank Serpico, the real-life New York City police officer who shook up the NYPD by testifying in front of the Knapp Commission about police corruption. Pacino is riveting, and the supporting cast, which includes Tony Roberts and F. Murray Abraham, is skillfully directed by Sydney Lumet. Read the complete review for Serpico
