Sepia Cinderella

Several well-known black entertainers appear in this old, worn-out story about a struggling young artist who strays from his roots. Daniels is a songwriter who finally has a hit song. However, all the money that comes with fame distorts his values and causes him to abandon his true love, Guyse. But after finding neither high-society women nor the fast lane to his liking, he comes running back to her. Songs by Deek Watson's Brown Dots add some pizzazz, as does the singing by Ruble Blakey.
