starstarstarstar
A preachy film, THE SELLOUT stars Pidgeon as a crusading newspaper editor out to smash corrupt sheriff Gomez by detailing his dirty deeds. Soon Pidgeon is kidnaped, but state's attorney Hodiak continues the fight for right. Unfortunately, all witnesses against Gomez refuse to talk, including Pidgeon when he resurfaces. As it turns out, Pidgeon has learned that his weak-willed son-in-law, Mitchell, is involved with Gomez, and thus is silent. Nevertheless, justice triumphs. leave a comment
