Self-Portrait

1973, Movie, NR, 74 mins

An inept film about a successful magazine photographer whose life takes an emotional turn for the worse after snapping pictures of dying children in Vietnam. He returns to Chile where he broods over the suffering he saw. A worthless entry which has more interesting production notes than plot. The film's associate producer, Gregory Roberts, had to leave the picture when it was discovered that he had an international arrest record. Changes at the helm also occurred when director James Mobley left the film after one week to be replaced by the equally ineffective McEndree. If that's not enough evidence that this movie is a dog, no writer claims credit for the script.
