Corrigan is an undercover Nazi stationed in the US to run a fancy gown shop as a front for an insidious counterfeiting operation through which he and fellow agents churn out bogus war savings stamps. They hope to shatter the morale of the loyal Americans who have been plunking down their
hard-earned dollars for the stamps and will now find out that their investments are worthless. Of course more than a few of Corrigan's customers get suspicious. (To 1940s audiences, the mere idea of a male speaking the language of high fashion was suspicious as well as humorous.) These alert but
unfortunate customers end up murdered, their corpses incorporated into the shop's patri...
