The trials and tribulations of decoders of Nazi secret messages for the British are detailed in this wartime drama featuring Barrier in a brief dual role as twin brothers (one of whom is killed off after deciphering an important Nazi message). Nazi agents operating in England under the supervision of the evil Atwill provide the appropriate amount of villainy as dedicated but luckless decoders are bumped off for being too good at their jobs. Eventually the staffers figure out that there's a spy in their midst, and they round up the foreign agents.
