Helen Mack plays the title intriguer, who lovingly tends boxer Lee Burke (Dick Foran) after he is nearly beaten to death in the ring at the behest of a big-shot gambler (Horace McMahon). Burke incites the jealousy of another of her patients, dashing criminal attorney John Dodge (Edmund
Lowe), but the rivalry is ended when, after Burke is framed for the murder of his former manager and sent to death row, Dodge comes to the ex-fighter's aid, extracting a crucial confession at the eleventh hour.
