Shannon plays the daughter of a wealthy politician who is forced by her father's suicide to take a job as a switchboard operator in a big hotel. The switchboard then becomes the center of action for the film as we glimpse various stories dealing with clandestine affairs, crime, and politics, with the switchboard serving to intersect the parts. leave a comment
