A good haunted house mystery starring Stuart as a strange woman who forces her three suitors, Janney, Stevens, and Lukas, to prove their bravery by each spending a night alone in the mysterious blue room of an old castle, owned by Atwill, where three people were murdered twenty years before. Remade twice, as THE MISSING GUEST (1938) and again as MURDER IN THE BLUE ROOM (1944).
