Calhoun plays a brave soldier in Italy circa 1815 who becomes embroiled in an adventure to find a treasure hidden on the island of Monte Cristo. He accompanies Bredin, the daughter of a murdered adventurer, on a quest which sees several unscrupulous characters in possession of different sections of the treasure map.
