Excellent cast helps this fairly unusual drama starring Allyson as the college-aged stepdaughter of young widow Colbert. The girl is obsessed by the memory of her late father, who had committed suicide. Her brother, Sterling, and Colbert are disturbed by Allyson's behavior (she locks herself in her room and plays piano for her dead father), so they seek the advice of a psychiatrist.
