Secret File: Hollywood

An inept little crime drama starring Clarke as an out-of-work private detective who reluctantly takes a job with a sleazy Hollywood tabloid as a photographer. York sends him out to snap sensational photos of movie director Warburton and new starlet Gray. Clarke gets the pictures and then stands by helpless as York and her associate Mason blackmail the director. Warburton pays, but the slimy crooks publish the pictures anyway, which causes the director's wife to commit suicide. Gray is cleared of any wrongdoing, and she teams up with Clarke to find out who's behind the blackmail ring. When both York and Mason are found dead, Clarke digs deeper and finds tape-recorde...
