Stack stars in this minor French effort directed by former New Wave actor Blain. Stack (who speaks halting French) plays a middle-aged dentist who seeks to invigorate his life by deserting his wife, Desmarets, and taking up with a young woman, played with little spunk or emotion by Alvina. Stack gets a bit upset, however, when he discovers his mistress also has a lover, a young man closer to her own age.
