Archer is a sea captain who has to prove that he wasn't an agent for the Japanese during the war. When he comes into co-ownership of a freighter with Chapman, they are pitted against some crooked thieves and an equally unlawful insurance agent, all of whom want to get their hands on a shipment of jewels hidden on board.
