The Sea God

While Arlen is diving for a sunken treasure, his underwater airline is cut by attacking island natives. He then simply walks to shore and the cannibalistic island dwellers assume him to be a sea god, bowing down before him. Sharing the little island is a gang led by Glecker, Arlen's nemesis. When Wray is kidnaped, Arlen hops back into his deep sea suit, stirs up the natives, who kill Gleckler, and then is free to go. More interesting than the film itself is the fact that well-known writer and director of Broadway musicals George Abbott served as both director and writer for this adventure tale.
