Screamers

The year: 2078. Peter Weller and a cast of unknowns are trapped on a barren planet in the 10th year of a pointless war between the Alliance and the New Economic Bloc. As if that weren't depressing enough, everyone has to keep an eye peeled for Screamers, mechanical soldiers that reproduce themselves and don't complain much. But that's only because they're busy mutating and scheming to turn on their masters. Based on a story by Philip K.
