Novarro kills his nymphomaniac lover, Lobato, during an insane outburst in which she tells him she no longer needs him and she is content to stay with her millionaire husband. The reasons behind the murder come out during the court case when Novarro relates that Lobato married Turner but
had to find a lover to quench her passion. She decided that she really did love her husband only after she devised a scheme to murder him, but was unsuccessful. Once these facts are disclosed, the question is whether Novarro should be sent to an asylum or to jail. Trashy drama that will leave
viewers opting for an asylum themselves.
