Hinde thinks she was responsible for her father's death several years earlier. Her lonely mother, Asherson, takes on a lover, Mower, and Hinde winds up stabbing him when he tries to molest her. The girl is sent to a reform school where she eventually is seduced by a lesbian who helps her
