Scavengers

SCAVENGERS casts Kenneth David Gilman as Tom Reed, an American ornithologist with a passion for vultures; reporter Brenda Bakke is Kimberly, his former girl friend and next-door neighbor. A priest pursued by a KGB agent stuffs into Reed's mailbox evidence linking the CIA and the KGB in dope smuggling. Reed is mistaken for an agent, the "Vulture Man," and soon he and Kimberly are in Africa, chased by Russian agents and African drug runners. After this initial setup, the film settles down for one long chase sequence, with Reed and Kimberly escaping time and time again in predictable fashion.
