This cheaply made monster movie features a synthetic creature (developed through DNA experiments) appropriately named "Syngenor." When the creature's creator dies, it goes on a rampage, killing human beings by sucking fluid out of their spinal columns. The police try to pin the murders on
a psychotic killer, leaving ex-cop-turned-novelist Stinson and genetics student Davidson to scrounge around sewers looking for the beast. The rubber monster suit is fairly effective--although highly derivative of H.R. Giger's designs for ALIEN (1979).
