An attempt to duplicate the mix of romance and raunch that made the Farrelly brothers' THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY a breakout hit, this comedy gets the gross-out gags right but fails to reproduce MARY's underlying tenderness. Kind-hearted orphan Gilly Noble (Chris Klein) works at the Shelbyville, Idaho, animal shelter and dreams of true love. He thinks he's found it in hair stylist Jo Wingfield (Heather Graham), newly returned from an extended stay in Beaver, Ore.
