The interesting concept concerns the separate adventures of five sailors during their 15-hour lay-over in London. Unfortunately, nothing new is offered, as the sailors engage in the chase of a skirt or the comfort of a bottle. One of the sailors, Campbell, is the shy and sensitive sort; he
manages to meet a girl who is perfect for him--so perfect, in fact, that he decides to jump ship in order to stay with her. Performances are all adequate, but the cast has little material to work with beyond that of the predictable sailors-on-leave type.
