Trite and talky science fiction film pushes believability to the limit. The plot involves a reporter who stows away aboard a satellite with which scientists are studying the effects of a tritonium bomb that's supposed to explode above the Earth's atmosphere. A mishap causes the bomb to attach itself to the satellite instead, leaving the entire crew certain that they are about to die. When the inventor of the bomb, Wolfit, goes berserk, two of his own scientists sacrifice their lives for those of the crewmembers. They climb outside the spacecraft and dislodge the bomb from the ship, exploding with it. Special effects stand up to the expected, but the script, especially in the dialog department, is superficial. leave a comment
